Saudi Visa For UAE Residents Online Application Procedure Fees for Multiple Entry
If you’re a UAE resident planning a visit to Saudi Arabia, obtaining a visa has never been easier. Saudi Arabia offers a one-year multiple entry visa specifically designed for UAE residents, allowing for a stay of up to 90 days within the one-year validity period.
This convenient visa option can be applied for online, right from the comfort of your home, making it an ideal choice for those seeking to visit family, explore the country’s rich heritage, or perform Umrah.
Applying for the Saudi multiple entry visa is a simple process with minimal documentation requirements. All you need is a passport copy valid for at least six months from your intended entry date, a UAE residence visa copy valid for at least three months from your planned entry date, and a recent passport-sized photo.
Once you’ve used up your 90-day stay, you’ll need to apply for a new visa if you wish to revisit Saudi Arabia during the one-year period.
Last year, I traveled to Saudi Arabia from the UAE, so I’ll share my experience to help you apply for a multiple entry visa as a GCC resident. This visa is perfect for anyone planning to visit Saudi Arabia for tourism, family visits, or Umrah.
My travel to Saudi Arabia as UAE Resident
The visa fees for multiple entry are reasonable, and I will also share with you the exact price for Indian passport holders or Pakistani applicants on the website before applying.
So, if you’re planning a trip, I will guide you through every step of how to apply for the Saudi visa from Dubai and ensure you’re all set to explore Saudi Arabia’s beauty!
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
First things first, head over to the official visa application website at https://visa.mofa.gov.sa/. If the website opens in Arabic, don’t worry! Simply find the letter ‘E’ on the left side of the page and click on it to switch the language to English.
Step 2: Login or Register
You will see a message “The new version has been launched” on your screen. Click on the “Try it Now” button. Now that we’re on the new website (the previous version has been updated), it’s time to log in. Click the login button.
If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll need to register. If you registered on the old website, you can still use the same email — no worries there!
Creating an Account: Since I don’t have an account, I’ll show you how to create one. Enter your email address and click to verify. Check your inbox for a verification code. Once you receive it, copy the code and paste it into the OTP section on the website.
Set a Password: After verification, create a strong password, confirm it, and you’re all set!
Step 3: Enter Your Personal Information
Now, it’s essential to fill in your personal details correctly. Enter your name exactly as it appears on your Emirates ID, as this is crucial for your visa application. Don’t forget to add your UAE phone number and click on the phone verification option.
If you don’t receive the verification code, you can skip this step and move forward without it.
Step 4: Logging In
Now, let’s log in! If you encounter any errors, don’t panic; it could just be a redirection issue due to the website update. Simply click on the ‘Try Now’ button, which should resolve the issue.
Once logged in, you’ll see your name on the screen. If it shows ‘login’ again, click on it, and your name should appear.
Step 5: Choose Your Visa Type
Scroll down and select ‘Visit’. For the purpose of your visit, choose ‘Tourism.’ Then, select your nationality (for example, Pakistan) and indicate that you’ve lived in GCC countries for no less than 3 months.
Next, check your Emirates ID status. Click ‘Pay’ and wait for the page to load. The eVisa page will notify you that your eVisa will be sent to your registered email.
Step 6: Start the Application
Click on ‘Apply Now.’ If you have previous applications, you’ll see them listed here. Since I don’t have any, I’ll close this window and continue.
Step 7: Select Your Visa Options
On the visa options page, select ‘Multiple Entries’ with a visa period of 365 days and a maximum stay duration of 90 days. Choose your expected date of arrival (for instance, the 16th of next month) and select United Arab Emirates as your country of residence since you’re currently in Dubai.
Next, choose the nearest embassy location. Since I’m in Dubai, I’ll select the Dubai embassy. For the mode of transport, select ‘By Air’, or you can leave it blank — it’s optional. Click ‘Next’ to move on.
Step 8: Fill in Your Personal Information
Now, it’s time to enter your personal details as they appear on your passport. Here’s what you’ll need to fill out:
First name
Middle name (optional)
Last name
Nationality (already selected as Pakistan)
Gender
Marital status
Occupation (leave this blank if you’re not working, or choose the option that best fits).
Step 9: Purpose of Visit and Photo Upload
Finally, choose the purpose of your visit — for me, it’s Umrah and Tourism. You’ll also need to upload a passport-sized photo in either PNG or JPEG format (PDFs won’t be accepted). Make sure you follow these steps carefully to ensure a smooth application process.
Step 10: Check Your Image
First things first! As you begin your application, it’s important to ensure that your image is correctly uploaded. If you don’t see it in the folder, don’t panic! Simply click on “All Files” to display all your uploaded images. Once you can see your photo, take a moment to double-check your information. When everything looks good, hit that “Next” button!
Step 11: Upload Your Passport Details
Now it’s time to upload your passport information and a clear photo of your passport. Again, click on “All Files” to locate your passport image and upload it. You’ll need to select “Passport Type” as Normal. Here’s where you’ll enter the following details:
Passport Number: Type in your unique passport number.
Country of Issue: Select your country, your passport’s origin.
Place of Birth: Enter your city of birth.
Issue Date & Expiry Date: Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of your application!
Once you’ve verified all these details, click “Next.”
Step 12: Provide Your Residence Information
You should have a pink document from your company that contains your residence (Iqama) information. This document has an important 8-digit UID number and a signature at the bottom. Upload this document.
Now, if you’ve accessed the ICP UAE application, you might see a document under the “Emirates ID” section. This document will show the Emirates ID number, but it lacks the UID number and signature, which is why we’ll stick with the pink document for now.
Step 13: Uploading the Residence Document
Click the upload option, select the residence document (the one with the UID and signature), and hit upload. For the Visa Number, enter the 8-digit UID number you found on your pink document. Set Issue Country as UAE, and for the Visa Expiry Date, refer to the date on your pink document or Emirates ID.
Next, specify your Country of Residence as UAE and enter Dubai for the city. Don’t forget to look up Dubai’s postal code to enter in the Zip Code field, and provide any Dubai address where you currently reside. Click “Next”!
Step 14: Review Terms and Conditions
Take a moment to read through the terms and conditions carefully. You’ll notice there are specific days when you can’t enter Mecca on this visa, and remember, this visa can’t be used for Hajj. Once you’re familiar with all the conditions, tick the checkbox at the bottom and click “Agree.”
Step 15: Application Review
Review all your information meticulously, checking for any spelling errors or mistakes. Use the preview option to ensure all your documents display correctly. If something looks off, you can easily go back and edit it. Once everything checks out, it’s time to click “Next.”
Step 16: Medical Insurance Selection
In this section, choose “No” for all options unless you have a specific case that requires you to provide that information. If you need to select an insurance option, click on “Show More Options.” There are various choices, ranging from more affordable options to pricier ones.
Step 17: Application Payment
We’re almost there! Now it’s time to make the payment for your application. Take a final moment to double-check all your information. The total fee is 108.80 Dollars. Once you’re ready, click “Pay” to proceed with the payment process.
You’ll need to enter your card information. After clicking “Pay,” you’ll receive a verification OTP sent to your mobile. Enter the OTP, and once confirmed, your payment should process smoothly! You’ll get a confirmation message on your mobile as well.
Step 18: Receive Your Visa
You did it! If you check your email within five minutes, you should find your visa waiting for you. I received mine right away, along with a confirmation email.
And that’s it! I’ve shared this entire process step-by-step, hoping it makes your application experience easier.
The Saudi Multiple Entry Visa is an e-visa that allows UAE residents to enter Saudi Arabia multiple times within a year.

3. Saudi Umrah Visa for UAE Residents
The Umrah visa is specifically for Muslims wishing to perform the Umrah pilgrimage.
Duration: Valid for 30 days with the flexibility to travel to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
Purpose: Specifically for performing Umrah, which can be done throughout the year except during the Hajj season.
4. Saudi Visa on Arrival for UAE Residents
Overview: UAE residents can obtain a visa upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
Duration: Usually valid for 30 days but can vary.
Purpose: Suitable for tourism, business, or family visits.
5. Saudi Transit Visa for UAE Residents
UAE residents and other GCC nationals do not require a transit visa for short stopovers in Saudi Arabia.
Duration: Generally allows for stays of up to 72 hours during transit.
Purpose: Primarily for travelers with layovers in Saudi Arabia en route to another destination.
Ensure that your transit stay does not exceed the stipulated time frame.
6. Business Visa for Saudi Arabia for UAE Residents
UAE residents do not require a separate business visa for travel to Saudi Arabia.
Purpose: Allows business professionals to enter for meetings, conferences, and negotiations without the need for a specific visa.
Ensure your travel aligns with the business-related activities and does not violate any visa regulations.
Saudi Visa Cost for UAE Residents
The total cost for a Saudi visa for UAE residents is $108.80. Please note that there may be additional charges depending on your bank’s transaction fees.
