The Ideal Face Award for UAE Residents With Special Privileges

Starting November 1, 2024, Dubai residents who sponsor family members or domestic workers can be rewarded for their commitment to adhering to residency regulations.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) is introducing a new initiative named “The Ideal Face,” designed to honor individuals with a clean residency record. This program aims to promote compliance and enhance the quality of life in the emirate.

Who Is Eligible for “The Ideal Face” Program?

The “Ideal Face” program is open to both Emirati and expatriate residents of Dubai who meet the following criteria:

  • Residency Duration: Must have lived in Dubai for a minimum of 10 years.
  • Clean Record: No residency violations during the current year.

Participants will be rewarded with exclusive benefits that include:

  • Expedited Service: Access to faster processing at GDRFA centers.
  • Priority Customer Support: Enhanced service through dedicated customer assistance.
  • Digital Certificate: A certificate of appreciation to recognize compliance.

Special Support for Elderly Residents

A unique aspect of the “Ideal Face” program is its focus on providing services for elderly residents. This initiative will include home assistance, ensuring that senior citizens can easily access necessary services from the comfort of their homes.

How to Apply for the Program

Residents interested in participating in “The Ideal Face” must submit an “obligation certificate” via the official GDRFA website. Following verification, participants will receive their digital certificate, signifying their compliance with residency regulations. The program also extends its benefits to individuals under sponsorship and those holding work visas.

Benefits of the Program

This government initiative not only rewards compliant residents but also encourages a culture of adherence to local laws. Benefits of participation include:

  • Fast-Track Visa Processes: Quick access to dedicated counters at Amer centers for expedited visa services.
  • Priority Handling of Requests: Enhanced response for inquiries made through the Ammer call center.
  • Home Services for Elderly Residents: Simplified access to visa requirements for seniors, ensuring they receive necessary support without difficulties.
